Wednesday, november 17th, 2021 7:30PM ET | Stories beyond Status: 40 Years of HIV in canada (Blackbox Studio, Arts Court, and Live stream broadcast)

This special presentation will feature a range of creative voices and storytellers sharing their lived experiences and personal histories of HIV/AIDS. The evening is co-presented by Qu’ART – Ottawa Queer Arts Collective – in collaboration with local HIV/AIDS service organizations in this lead-up to World AIDS Day 2021.

In-person tickets are $25, and live stream tickets are pay-what-you-can: $10, $16, or $25.

A $5 donation will be made to The Canadian AIDS Memorial Quilt for every $25 ticket purchased (either in-person or live stream). The Quilt serves as a living memory of almost 25,000 Canadians who have died of AIDS-related causes and tells their stories. Donations are needed for the maintenance of the Quilt, including cleaning and restoration. Learn more about its legacy and how to support its preservation here.

Note for those attending in-person: Doors open at 7:00PM ET. Patrons must show proof of their vaccination status with a photo ID, and masks must be worn. All ticket holders will be provided with a link to watch the show live-streamed. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home, and enjoy the show virtually.

Live stream ticket holders will receive a link to the performance two hours before showtime. Can’t watch during the live stream? That’s okay. The recording will be available for one week to ticket holders.
