The 2024 edition of the One World Grannies “Stories for a Summer Evening” Fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, June 26, from 6:15 to 9:00 pm at First Unitarian Congregation (30 Cleary Avenue in Ottawa).
Ottawa StoryTellers is proud to be a partner and to support this fundraiser!
A $35 ticket* to Moon Magic includes an evening of entertainment, homemade hors d’oeuvres and desserts, door prizes, laughter, and a celebration of 18 years of support and solidarity with the grandmothers of sub-Saharan Africa. These courageous older women have been caregivers to the millions of children and young people orphaned by the AIDS pandemic and they continue to need the support we offer through the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers Campaign. The funds we raise support the grandmothers, the children in their care, and the community-based organizations that work with them.
*plus Eventbrite fees ($3.61)
