Best Practices for Audio Recording and Editing Workshop with AL Connors

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Sound your best! In this two-part workshop, we'll examine simple ways to get the most of your gear for sound recording, with a focus on storytelling and podcasts. There will be live demonstrations and the opportunity to ask questions and advice regarding your particular set-up. Between the two sessions, there will be a bit of homework to try out the skills we've learned, so we can talk about what worked and what didn't in the second session. We'll be using the Audacity app (https://www.audacityteam.org/) which is free and available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, to learn how to make that recording sound as good as possible. Perfect for the storyteller who is ready to record and share their stories, and for those interested in podcasting!
