Get into storytelling with Storytelling Open Mic!
This free event may have a new name (formerly “Story Swap”), but it still has the same welcoming atmosphere, both online and in person!
Storytelling Open Mic is a perfect place for newcomers to discover storytelling in a warm and supportive atmosphere or for more experienced tellers to test out new stories. Listeners are needed and welcome! You will hear folk tales, historical pieces, fractured fairy tales, true personal stories, recitations, ballads, and original stories - ranging from funny to poignant.
Two options for Storytelling Open Mic!
Ottawa StoryTellers offers this free event twice a month, once in person and once online. Whether in-person or online, attendees can listen or tell a story 5-10 minutes long.
